Painting the Bridal Bouquet Portrait

I love gardening because I love flowers, and I love to paint flowers. It's only natural to extend that painting Bridal Bouquet Portraits and teaching others to do the same.

The Video above is a 64X overview of a painting demonstration, varnishing and creatively packing a recent commissioned Bridal Bouquet Portrait I painted, and I wanted to share it with you for entertainment and lesson or two. The full, narrated real-time video is available to my Creative Spirits patrons over on Patreon at www.patreon.com/susanelizabethjones

In this video you'll see the 5-Step painting process I most typically use when painting in oils or acrylics. My eBook "Learn to Paint in 5 Steps and Let your Creative Spirit Soar" is available at no charge to my in-person students and those who join Patreon at any level starting at $3/month.... just as a way of saying "Thank you."

When I started painting full-time, I made a promise to myself to under-promise and over-deliver. And that can mean just about anything and take on many forms. In the case of this commission, I painted a 6 x 6 companion piece to include as a surprise. I've never added a bonus painting and I may never again, but the reference photos from the client's wedding were so beautiful, I was compelled to paint the Groom's boutonniere when I finished painting the bride's bouquet.
